Wilks Street Medical Practice – CLOSED
Dear Patients,
After fourteen wonderful years of caring for the local community, we wish to advise that Wilks Street Medical Practice will be closing on Friday, 26 June.
This decision has not been made lightly.
It has been a great privilege to support you and your families over the years, and we are sincerely grateful for the trust and kindness you have shown us throughout this journey.
To assist with continuity of care and a smooth transition, we are offering all patients a bulk-billed long consultation prior to the closing date.
Following your final in-person consultation, you will also remain eligible for bulk-billed Telehealth appointments for up to twelve months.
We encourage patients to arrange an appointment before closure to review ongoing healthcare needs, prescriptions, referrals, and future management plans.
Medical records can be transferred to your new general practitioner upon request in accordance with privacy requirements.
Please note that aviation medical services will continue to be available in the vicinity of Essendon Airport and nursing home visits will remain unchanged.
