Wilks Street medical practice was officially opened by AMA Victoria President Dr Stephen Parnis on August 11th 2012.
A large red ribbon was cut, a huge bottle of champagne was popped, many pastizi’s and mini bagels were consumed, as guests celebrated the opening of a new medical practice, in North Caulfield!
February 19th 2013: Dr Rachel Cann officially became a DAME (Designated Aviation Medical Examiner) for CASA (the Civil Aviation Safety Authority)
July 15th-19th 2013: Dr Rachel Cann was in Oklahoma City in the USA, training to be an Aviation Medical Examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration.
August 20th 2013: Dr Rachel Cann officially became an aviation medical examiner for the FAA
September 7th 2013: WilkStreet medical Practice hosted its first “Dine-at Mine” fundraiser for Camp Quality. Thank you to Carol, Denise and Rodelle from Camp Quality, who came along and told us all about the wonderful work they do, helping support children with cancer and their families.Thank you to the local pizza shop Ecoblu, who provided excellent pizzas at a charity rate. November 2013: WilkStreet Medical Practice acquired a state of the art Otovation audiometer and can offer hearing tests to patients and pilots!
